Been kicked off premium, now being asked to pay an extra £2.99 a month to go back

I've been a Spotify premium subscriber for a few years.  Yesterday I discovered I've been returned to being a free user and if I want to return to Premium I have to pay an EXTRA £2.99 a month (i.e. £12.99 per month). 

My card hasn't expired and there's money in my account so there's no way it's because I missed a payment.

Please help.

Turns out it was a smartphone problem.  When I logged in from a computer I was able to restart at the same rate.  Initial cause was the expiry of the debit card I signed up with.

Yeah, annoyingly In-App upgrades cost more because of how much Spotify have to pay Apple/Google.
