Being followed

I just received a notification that I am being followed. Whilst the follower is a friend, I am not happy that my Spotify account can be accessed in this way, I am just not interested in the "social" side of the service.

Can someone please let me know how to turn it off?

Thanks

Simple answer is you can't.

You can set all of your playlists to private (so only you can see them) and turn off all activity sharing in the Settings menu of your chosen Spotify application but you can't make your entire profile private I'm afraid.

Hello!

You might also want to consider, creating a Spotify account not linked to a Facebook, with a username, and not giving out the username to anyone. 🙂 That is probably the closest, right now you can get to turning off all social features.

Hope this helped 🙂
