Can not install latest version of spotify with suggestion bar...

Hi,

Since the beginning of this winter my Spotify has had a banner which reads:

"Like to install the latest version of Spotify? Just restart Spotify to upgrade."  (with the "restart Spotify" hyperlinked)

I have read a previous post on a similar issue where the installer begins and never finishes. My problem is different. I hit the hyperlink and Spoitify restarts, but when it opens up nothing has changed. The message is still there.

Also, I am having a couple of other issues. When I want to open a artists page I get a blank screen. Before the page would open but none of the music would show. If I type the artists name into the search bar the normal search works and I can play music that way. My playlists also all work fine.

Any suggestions on either of these problems would be much appreciated!

Hi,

You may want to perform a clean uninstall with Spotify client then download the lastest version. This will help 🙂
