I've had the same problem (want to change country to Germany from US, but don't have a credit card). I've submitted a contact form but have gotten no response other than the general "check out the help pages" email. What should I do?

Hi, noticed that you are helping other's out with this problem i was wondering if you could do the same for me please. I have set up my free account and for some strage reason it has set me up as being in the USA when in fact im in the UK. Anyway we can rectify this prefferably without me putting in any credit card details.

KaL - As David mentions earlier in the thread, in order to change the country in your account, you'll need to do the following...

* Place a postal code on your account.
* Add a payment method to your account (but no need to actually subscribe)

No payment will be taken when adding card details, it's just to verify your location.

My account is showing I am in the UK....but I am in the USA. How can this be fixed? I have gone to my facebook page, nothing there says UK as my location.  I'm not able to use the Spotify service.

Tastefullynasty - I've just moved your post over to this larger thread. In order to change the location in your account, you'll need to follow the instructions I mention above.

Hello, the same problem occurred for me: I live in Germany but my account says UK. I don't have a Credit-Card so it wont let me change my location! Please help me fix this. Also my Facebookpage doesn't say anything about being in the UK. I just want to continue use my free Account here in Germany!

Xsandros- Users that don't have a credit card need to fill out our contact form so our support team can help.
