Hi,

I'm trying to change my password on my spotify account but it says "Another account is already registered with this email address."

 

What do I do?

Well its says that the email is allready inn use, Peter.

Sounds like a duplicate account issue, its an easy fix but unfortunately can't be done here on the community. 

If you drop support an email using this form they will be able to get that sorted out for you. If you get an automated email reply, just reply directly to it and someone will get back to you asap.

I don't use Facebook for Spotify, but still have the problem. Please help.

@teippe - Is it the "email address already in use" error you are getting?

Yep!

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to get this sorted out for you. 


If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I originally joined and used my facebook login. I now need to add a device and have my username, but the set device password email never arrives when requested.

The email address is correct, no spam is getting stuck, it is just not getting sent. Help!

The 'device' (a raspberry pi) finally worked when i used my facebook email and password.

Sorted!

Im having the same problem. Wont let me change my password because my email address is already in use.
