I don't know why, but I tried changing my country setting on my phone and on my desktop and it won't allow me to. The country, USA, has even a lighter color text and won't let me pull down on the menu to change from USA to Canada. I'm a Canadian user. Now I'm not able to use Spotify at all.

The change is based on two factors.

- If you are a free user with no payment details, the country is set by your current IP address. Are you connecting from a Canadian IP? Check here:
http://www.maxmind.com/en/locate_my_ip

- You can use a payment card to verify your location, so you wouldn't be able to make a change if you have a US payment method on your account for example.
