Do I need to logon to Facebook in order to use Spotify?

I have Spotify Premium.  I had originally signed up for Spotify via Facebook,  I'm still OK with that.  The only issues is - I HAVE to LOGON to Facebook EVERYTIME I use Spotify.  Can I setup a separate Spotify logon / password that is different from my Facebook Logon??  I do not want to logon to Facebook all the time.

By setting a password for "older devices" ot something like that. If I remeber good it allows you to connect to spotify as well.

Spotify is a Facebook feature so yes, you need to be on Facebook to use Spotify.

 

You can only use Spotify without Facebook if you signed up before Facebook was required (before Sept 22nd 2011).
