Entered credit card info, but account doesn't show it

Hey friends,

I let my subscription to premium lapse for about two weeks and just set down to re-up it, now on a different card. When I tried to start it up, it only allowed me the option to use the free 30 days promotion (which I used up long ago) and then begin receiving the charges after that. So I put my new card info in and hit activate. Usually it takes a bit for the transaction to be processed, so I didn't pay much heed to premium not being activated instantly. However, log in online some time later to check how things are going. No luck. My account doesn't say I've upgraded to premium, and my new card number is not attached to the account. However, I am worried that in thirty days, my card is going to start getting billed. Any idea how to find out through spotify what that card-number is attached to? Also, for clarity's sake, when i log in now it shows the subscription interface that I expected to see the first time, with no promotional option.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

 

Does your subscriptions page say your card is there and you are on premium?

Make sure you're logging into the right account that you subscribed to, it's very easy to have both a facebook and Spotify login!

 

If it still doesn't work, I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can look into it further for you.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

What if you are just trying it, and if you like it, that's when you'll put the credit card #in. I'm not putting a number in, because if I don't like it, I'm not getting it. What do I do?

@Alysparkl - I'm not sure I know what you mean. Are you trying to subscribe to Premium?
