I can't get no satisfaction

I have a premium account. The credit card is about to expire. I would like to use my American Express card Spotify will not accept it. As per Spotify the suggestion is  to open a new account with my personal email cancel the current one and retain saved palylists. It sais my email is ttaken althogh Sptify sasi it is not. I started this request August 4th. I have been contacted by Spotify and followed the instructions to no avail. 

It takes days to get a reply and the results are the same NOTHING!!!!  I am at my wits end I really enjoy Spotify but this is ridiculous.

Is it the same email you use for Facebook?

Unfortunately all I can suggest is to stick at support as they need to fix it for you. If you haven't tried it and you have twitter, the @SpotifyCares support are generally way faster than email. 😉

Sorry that this problem has taken so long to resolve.  I have removed your gmail address from an old deactivated account and you should now be able to use it to create a new Spotify account.  I am about to send a reply to your case 1670155 which may help you update your payment details on the current account.

I was able to open new account now

it will not accept american express

I want to move playlist to new account and delet facebook account.

Is it an amex credit card (not a prepaid or anything)?
