Log in to spotify without facebook

I used the link to have Spotify generate a username. They emailed me the link to change my password, but when I click the link it takes me to the "log in" page and I am unable to set a new password.  I need to be able to log in to spotify without logging into facebook. Help!

Just to clarify do you currently have a spotify account created with facebook? And you created another account using just your email to generate a spotify username correct? Just want to make sure I have this correct.
