Need to delete old account associated with current email address

I had a spotify account that was linked to my old Facebook account which was since deleted.  Since I deleted my Facebook account, I created a new spotify account that is not linked to my Facebook. The OLD Spotify account is linked to my current email address, and when I try to change my email address it says there is already an account with this email address. I need to know how to delete the old spotify account and link my CURRENT Spotify account with my CURRENT email address.

You will need to contact customer support here https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/?contact if you get an automated email reponse directing you back to the boards just go ahead and respond back to that email even if it is from a noreply anyway and someone will get with you. Make sure to give all your accounts details to them when you reply back to that email you get and keep your case number handy just in case there is a hang up somewhere.
