Offline mode while traveling

I just want to be extra sure because data rates are so high out of the country.- Will my 'available offline' playlists still work on the plane, in europe (inside and outside the EU), with 'airplane mode' turned on?

Yes should do as long as you don't explicitly log out of the app. 🙂

Thanks. is this true even if my iphone is not set up to work overseas? Can i basically just use it as a music devise?

If you go into the Spotify app settings and turn on offline mode as well as turning on airplane mode on your iPhone, then it should work.

You can then use your iPhone as a music device that will not be connecting to the Internet at all.

And if you are going to be using WiFi anywhere while traveling, you do not need to disable airplane mode. You can still turn on and use WiFi while airplane mode is enabled to ensure that you will not be charged for data.
