I have also tried the steps and it is not working.
Is it possible to delete the "second" account (Facebook) and just go back to my original account and re-sync it to Facebook

Hi!
Did the things you are suggesting but nothing is working, logging in with my account number is not working -> username or password is incorrect . logging in using facebook has removed my playlists AND my premium account which has JUST been paid for?????????
Suggestions or I wan't my money back for a service which dosen't work anymore..... There are other possibilities beside from spotify

I am having the same issue and just filled out a form (Case #: 282285)
I am pretty sure I signed up via facebook in the beginning, but honestly I don't remember.
All I know is that my playlists are gone.
Any help would be appreciated,

My account nr has been changed and all the playlist and premium is gone. I try to login with the old account nr but spotify says The username or password is incorrect..
I hope spotify fix back my old account nr so i can listen my playlist and my premium works again.

I am having the same problem as everyone else. I have approx 300 missing starred songs. I have tried all the solutions you have given but it won't let me log on using my facebook login on either the desktop or my phone. If this cannot be fixed I am thinking that it is not worth paying a premium service and I will cancel my subscription before it is due to renew next week. I have not had a response to either of the queries I sent to the support team either.
Please can you let me know if someone is looking into this for me or whether that's it..., hours of songs lost....

This was a terrible user experience, and makes me reconsider if I want to be continue being a premium subscriber.
