Premium account access to my Local Files

Just getting started so this is probably a dumb question.  I have a trial Premium account. When I run Spotify on my desk top PC it finds all my locally stored music files.  When I log in to my Ipad iteration of Spotify, it finds my account and finds the playlists I created, but it doesn't show my collection/library from my PC. Should it? 

Thanks in advance while I ask some dumb questions as I gifure out this amazing service.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Your iPad won't see all of the local files you have stored on your PC. 

However, if you make playlists which contain local files, you can sync those local files to your iPad following the instructions here.
