Problems resetting password

Hi, I cant remember my password. When I go to the password reset tabs I enter new password, but then I'm told to enter my OLD password in order to reset it! And I can't remember my old password in the first place! Any pointers?

Hi. It looks like you use a facebook log in in which case, you can change your password on the facebook site.

It sounds like you are logged into the Spotify website which is why you can't get a reset (since it assumes you know the password if you are logged in.

Try:
1. Go to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/
2. If you get redirected to your online profile (where you need to current password to make the change), you are still logged into the website. Click on your name at the top and choose Log Out.
3. Return to https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/ and you should be able to request a reset.
