Returning to US from Australia and cannot use Spotify. Please Help!

Hello all, 

 

So I went to Australia for 4 months and didn't use Spotify because you can only use it for 14 days while abroad. Now that I am back in the US, and have made sure that my profile says USA, Spotify still won't let me listen to music and is telling me I need to upgrade my account and purchase a subscription. I don't understand why I can't listen to music like I did before, nor why it isn't recognizing that I am in the US. Any solutions?

Can you try a clean reinstallation of the application and see if that helps at all?

The first thing I would do here is delete and re-install the Spotify application. If that doesn't work contact Spotify Support and inform them of the problem as I am sure they could help you to resolve this issue.
