Spotify in Germany: The country is set to UK and cannot be changed!

Hello there,

I am a spaniard living in Germany since October. Since that day, my country settings are set to UK for some reason, but it will not let me change them. My IP is obviously German (I even get blocked Youtube by the GEMA every now and then) so the IP-Location test is not working.

Does anyone have a clue of what is wrong?

Sometimes the system can get a little confused. It is worth:
- Trying going to https://www.spotify.com/account/profile/ in a different browser than normal and see if that will let you change country.
- Make sure this page reports your country code as DE:
http://www.maxmind.com/en/locate_my_ip
- Make sure you don't have any UK based payment methods added to your Spotify account.
