Spotify thinks I am in the wrong country. Can't change country.

Spotify thinks I am in the wrong country. Can't change country.

Spotify treats me as abroad because when I created this account my country was automatically set to USA, when I am in Canada. I wish ot change that setting to Canada, but the option to change it is greyed out. Because of this I can't make changes to my profile as it wishes me to enter a postal code, but my postal code won't work because it is expecting a zip code for the US. Please change my country to Canada. Thanks.

I would suggest you to contact Spotify so they manually can adjust it for you.

 

You may get in touch with Spotify via their Twitter page (@SpotifyCares), or by following this link to send an e-mail.
If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.

It's worth trying a different browser and checking your IP address location is correct here too:
