Switching from Facebook account to Spotify account

Hello everyone,

so I got this problem: I have a Spotify Account, but I created it with my Facebook Account. Now I want to delete my Facebook Account, but want to keep my Spotify Account. I know I just could create a new independent Spotify Account, but on my Account there are still 3 Months of Premium left (gift cards), so do I need to wait those 3 Months or can I move the Premium time I still got to a new Account or something like that?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You will need a completely new account to break the tie with Facebook, but the Spotify team should be able to lend a hand and get your premium transferred over if you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
