Upgrading from a Premium suscription to a Family Plan.

My question is simple, what happens If I want to upgrade from a premium suscription to a Family plan? I'm so interested in this option but I'm afraid of ending up paying twice. Should I cancel my premium suscription first or the whole process it's automatic? Thanks in advance!

I found that in the FAQ about Spotify Family

"I'm already on a Premium subscription. What happens when I upgrade?
If you're already a Premium user, don't worry! We won’t bill you until the time you’ve paid for has run out, taking into account the increased price. You can review your renewal date on the subscription page."
