I signed up for a trial of Spotify Premium, and I tried to immediately cancel the recurring payment option. It asks for my password, and since I connected with Facebook, I entered my Facebook password. It tells me incorrect password. So I enter my email address for you to send me a reset password link. I still have not received that email. I am very frustrated, and I do not want to be charged for something that is not my fault

Hi jasonptown- I've just moved your post to this more relevant thread.
Please try Sam's suggestions above to 1. change your browser and 2. log out of Facebook.

Thanks didn't see this topic, but it is a good fit.
Looks like the issue isn't presenting itself - Tried it and this time it directed me to FB to type in my pswd. Was able to unsubscribe.

I'm currently on a spotify premium membership for a month with the free trial. I don't really use it enough to warrant paying £9 a month and i'd like to cancel it, however when i go on to cancel it and it requests for you to enter your password it comes up saying incorrect password when i type it in? I've logged out and in many times checking my password is the correct one and it is, for some reason my hotmail i've registered my account to is blocked. Anyone know a way how i can cancel it? Thanks

I recommend checking out the troubleshooting steps above (changing your Internet browser and logging out of Facebook). Then head back to your subscription page and give that cancellation another try.

I had the exact incorrect password error you are experiencing.
My native browser is Internet Explorer.
I solved this by logging out of facebook on IE and downloading Safari (Apples web browser)
Then go directly to spotify's website and log into your spotify account,
then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on account -> manage subscription.
Then cancel your subscription and when it asks you to log into facebook,
just log in as normal and the incorrect password error should disappear.
