country and account do not match- spotify will not work

country and account do not match- spotify will not work

Hello,

 

When I try and use my account it says that my country does not match my info. I am in the United States and that is what it is set as also. Can somoene please fix this? My account is reisenb. Thanks!

The best people who can adjust your account are the people from the Spotify Consumer Service.

Two other things worth trying.

 

Make sure your country on this page locates to the USA which is based on your current IP address:

http://www.maxmind.com/en/locate_my_ip

 

Try re-installing the Spotify application:
