Hey guys, we're looking into what is causing this now. So any pattern we can pick up would be great.

One idea we've got is that this might have something to do with reinstalling the Spotify app. Did any of you do this at the same time as losing the starred tracks? Thanks.

I use Linux and Android version. The day that I realized that I lost the tracks was after remove the Linux cache (I removed the cache because the app crashed trying to sync the Starred list). But I'm not sure if the songs were lost before that.

Hi Richard,

I opened spotify as usual (not any update or reinstalling before) and it was loading my playlists for ages. After a while this stopped and my playlists appeared but the starred tracks were gone, except the last maybe six tracks.

I've now undone the removal of the starred tracks. So they should all be back now, after a quick log out and in.
