salandarin, in one of your posts, you said - "After syncing about ten songs, it said my disk was full - this is incorrect, as I have 27GB free".
Maybe it was caching to the internal memory by mistake? Setting up your SD card for caching is fairly simple -
1. Open Spotify in your mobile
2. Go to “More”, “Settings” and select “Clear saved data”
3. Press More and then Log Out
4. While at the login screen, press the hardware Menu key and select SD Location
5. Enter the path to a folder on the SD card
6. Finding the exact path to your SD card can be done with a file manager, and can differ between phones.
On the Samsung Galaxy S, for example, you should use: /mnt/sdcard/external_sd
Spotify will then store tracks in this folder:/mnt/sdcard/external_sd/Android/Data/com.spotify.mobile.android.ui
Tried, does not work. So far, the only solution is to not make ANY playlists Offline

My acer iconia a100 has been offline for 3 days. Connected to my mifi, my comcast home service and also my work network. You guys need a better troubleshooting that 'its a temporary thing'

Gonna keep hounding this thread until we get a real response. I submitted a support ticket which included a link to this thread, this was the response I received:

I just logged out on both my computer and my app on my phone and logged back in and it corrected itself. At lease in my case I feel like it was just a glitch with the login and authorizing the account fully.

Another week is gone and not one spotify-guy cared about this problem?
What kind of company is this?
A lot of users have this problem! People can't use the service, because YOUR software does not work!
Do something...

Re: You are Offline....I have same problem....can't play the music unless I'm connected to WIFI (and that's the only way I would consider being online, since I have a very low monthly data plan..300 mb)...Then when I play from my playlist that I'm supposed to be able to enjoy offline, it tells me I AM offline and that I can't play them..same as everyone else I guess..cannot change password since only way my signup would work was through Facebook..I'm a very new customer..trying 30-day trial...can't deal with all this..probably will cancel soon if it's not fixed...a shame, cause I really like the service..works fine on my PC..my cell is a Samsung Captivate w/Android's 2.3.5 OS..My carrier is AT&T. I sure hope you Spotify folks fix this problem and soon!
@Geri: Playlists aren't available offline by default. When online, you have to push the button "Edit offline playlists" in the top and mark the playlists you wan't to have available offline. Spotify will then sync these to your phone, depending on the number of tracks this can take some time.
