Syncing with USB

Syncing with USB

I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times but I am going to ask again.

I have a windows computer and an android phone and they are not on a wifi network. Just a standard wired network. I connect my android device to usb but it does not show up on spotify as a device. How can I sync over a usb?  If I can't, that's a deal breaker for me.  Thanks.

Hey mcswainfowler,

It sounds like you could really benefit from a network bridge to convert your wired network to a wireless one. Understandably, this isn't the easiest option and it would be nice if we could sync spotify by just using usb. Though In my opinion,  the benefits of wifi syncing far out-weigh the occosional inconveniences.

Anyway, here's a link to a site explaining what a network bridge is and how to get/use one. Give it a look over and let me know if I can help you in some other way. http://resource.dlink.com/connect/transform-wired-devices-into-wireless-with-a-network-bridge/
