It is so annoying that the app forgets where you left off, and you always have a blank playscreen. That should be the first thing that is fixed ... but it s still the same after the update.

Can someone explain, does this Extreme mode in Android is a real 320 kbps?
I think about to change my Lumia 800 to Android phone, however I need to know this.
This Windows Phone Spotify app is buggy as hell... They released it with MS as beta 2011 and still outdated, buggy, non-updated... And they does not say when update will come. And all those bugs... really tired to app.
And what Android phone do you suggest, I need 4.0 Android???
I think maybe Samsung Galaxy S II? How it's working with Spotify?

Yes, I use Spotify since Decemer 2010. And Windows Phone Spotify app is buggy. However I maybe start Unlimited soon and change my phone to Nokia C2-05. I must say, I do not like iPhone design and in Android too much settings for me. I like simple phones. But maybe this is technical thing why Spotify does not provide 320 kbps or gapless etc in Lumia. For now I just think about it.
There no need to change right away, because Lumia is OK phone.
You can read Spotify blog, there only updates to iPhone and Anroid... Those are main OS's.

Please add support for the HTC Media Link HD or add an option to prevent the device from going to sleep.
I use an HTC Media Link HD with my HTC One X. Apparently, Spotify is not marked as a streaming app, and/or does not actively support streaming over the Media Link HD. So the phone still goes into sleep mode, while the music keeps playing, but disconnects from the Media Link. This means that I need to keep my phone awake manually :(

But, as I say - Windows Phone is awesome in design. So for now I should wait. Microsoft is releasing soon Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, so I really think Microsoft can then update this mobile app...
Or if Microsoft keep this oudated, Spotify users just choose another OS. I should say another thing too; Spotify's 160 kbps in Mobile is good for me. So for now I just wait.
However this Android app looks good. So I really want some options from this to WP... I'm happy that Android users can enjoy Spotify fully. Maybe some day I can enjoy Spotify too...

I'm missing the ability to use the built in DSP Manager in Cyanogenmod 9, as spotify doesn't have it's own EQ(nor do I wish it had a built in one), it would be nice to have the ability to use the DSP Manager.
Apparently the problem is that Spotify uses wrong API, the DSP works with nearly every other app, and it worked fine with Spotify before it got the new sleeker look.
Another thing that I'm missing is that when using my SGS2 as bluetooth source in my car, it doesnt transfer the artist and song name to the head unit.
It will just show up as "unknown" on the display. If I put mp3's on the internal memory and play them with the built in player it will transfer the information just fine.
