Those are them! How do I get them back into my starred collection?

Click anyway within the playlist, and then press either "Ctrl+A" or "Cmd+A" (depending on if you're on a Windows or a Mac). Then right click on the tracks, and click on "Star"

Not Windows user, but found thread through Google and same problem. I'm down to 60 starred songs.

And can you please give us some information about this? Why is this happening? And will there be a fix? And can you recover all starred songs?

I can't really go into why, I'm afraid. Fingers crossed, it'll be sorted very soon. In a lot of cases though, those of us on our end, skilled in the dark arts, can find the tracks. However, this can't always be done.
