I can't think why that might be - have you tried running it both as an administrator (right click the Spotify icon and select this) and in compatibility mode (right click menu > properties > compatibility)?

yes, i have tried. I did it with the download, and error 17 went away, and when im gonna try to open spotify nothing happend only task manager shows that its on, but i have seen on my old computer that on "programfiles" there is a spotify file, bt on my new computer the is nothing (programfiles (x86))

Do you know where Spotify installed to? And where are you running it from? It might make a difference if you're launching from the desktop or start menu etc.

Something to try is to launch Spotify directly from a Facebook play link. Try for example https://www.facebook.com/music/song/One-More-Time/10150185528350179

it is installed to Appdata (roaming) and i have tried to open it many times on desktop and start etc

Odd that - did the play link above not help at all?

Does everything else on your computer work well? You don't seem to be doing anything wrong. That said, making sure you've got all the Windows updates and so on is something worth checking (even when you don't have an issue, really).

I got a ThinkPad Edge E520, everything works good, only Spotify has problems

fxel123, when was the last time you reinstalled Spotify? And when you did so, did you delete all Spotify folders and files on your computer?

Fist time i got my computer, like 3 weeks ago, and i tried to reinstall and everyything over 10 times

and i deleted all spotify folders, the problem came first time i installed Spotify on my computer
