No ''import files button'' in the local files folder.

[ Edited ]

Hello! I've been using Spotify for a while now. I reinstalled Spotify on my iPhone today and I wanted to import my local files again. I noticed that the button ''import files'' is missing. I've tried everything, so I'm a little lost here. My laptop is on the same wifi as my phone, my files are mp3, I've already reinstalled Spotify and I've linked Spotify directly to the map with the files. Is there anyone who has an idea what I'm doing wrong? I have a MacBook Pro with OS X Lion and a premium Spotify account.

You'll need to get your iPhone to appear under "Devices" on your Mac version of Spotify. Ensure that you are logged in on Spotify on both your computer and your phone, and it's in the "foreground" on your phone.

The name of your phone should appear under "Devices". Click the big Sync button in the middle, then click on "Manually Choose Playlists to Sync" at the top. Then, you can sync the local files you wish!

My phone is connected to my mac with the same wifi and with a usb cable and Spotify is in the foreground on both my mac and phone. Spotify still won't recognize my phone..

My problem is solved. Think the problem was something with the settings of my internet at home. Tried it at someone elses home and now it works perfectly.

Re: No ''import files button'' in the local files folder.

Can you tell me what you did to your internet settings to fix it? I don't have an import button. I've installed and uninstalled and all that business and I can't for the life if me to get my local files to import/sync. It's driving me crazy. They are all mp3's so they should work.

Thanks!

Hi!

I still have the problem at home, I don't know what is wrong with my internet settings at home.. You should try it again on someone elses internet. It should work perfectly then.

Hope this helped you!
