Hi there,

I would like to know if I can play Spotify offline even if I am on line. I do not want to use the company band's width and I would like to listen to Spotify off line.

How can I activate the off line mode if my Laptop is on-line?

If you are using the most recent version, you should be able to click on the File menu at top of Spotify, and then select "Offline Mode."  To disable it, just select "Offline Mode" from the file menu again, and it will turn it off.

Hi...new Spotify user...have premium and can't play in offline mode on either transformer prime or pc...I have dragged about 50 tracks into playlists, library...everywhere...yet each time I click play it give message "cannot play track in offline mode"

Is it something simple I'm missing? Thanks...

It sounds likely that your playlists are not set as available offline.  To mark a playlist as being available offline, hilight the playlist on the left side, then look on the top towards the right, a little above the listing of tracks in the playlist.  There should be a toggle labeled "Available Offline."  Set this to "On" and then wait for the songs to synchronize.  Once you've done this, you should be able to listen to that playlist while in offline mode.

my computer says that im offline and it cant get it to turn back online to play my music. i dont know how to fix it and if you could help me i would highly appreciate it

Offline option is not checked, but the app shows that it is offline.  If I check the offline mode, then un-check it, it is still offline.  Re-installed, no change.

Mine still is in offline mode and it won't shut off. What should I do?
