Over the past few days when trying to log into Spotify it has the new terms and agreement box. I accepted it everytime I've logged in but then it puts me in offline mode and I can't listen to any music. How do I get out of offline mode?
I've tried going to file -> offline mode and checking and unchecking it
I've tried to log out of spotify too, but it won't let me because it freezes the program.
Any suggestions??

I have the same problem and I've tried all the tricks I could find from this community help site. Nothing works. The problem started after the new version was automatically installed. Since then I haven't been able to go online.
How can this be fixed?

I too am having this issue following the upgrade which took effect yesterday. I am using Win7 and all was well prior to the upgrade. I have attempted uninstall/reinstall, etc all to no avail.

Also forgot to mention that I have a Free subscription plan if that helps and am using V 0.8.3.222.g317ab79d.

One more tidbit. The client is showing "Offline" in the bottom right corner but the "Offline Mode" option in the "File" menu does not have a check mark next to it.

Quick update to the Offline issue. I am now able to play but the songs are constantly skipping. It is almost as if there is a buffering issue.

That's my problem. I'm not trying to add any music to my phone (I was aware of Spotify Premium - not that I have a good enough phone for it anyway), I just want music on my computer.

Oh and I still can't play any of my music if I didn't make that clear.
