Tried 'new' version, and still the same issue. Rebooted, removed cache, re-installed, the lot. Still doesn't work. Come on Spotofy - your music won't play. Sort it - it's kinda major.

It seems like all users hurting are Leopards. Am I right? I'm running 10.5.8. A friend of mine runs 10.6 Snow Leopard, and he doesn't seem to have the issue...

It's affecting three machines here (my old laptop running 10.5.8, and both my iMac and my wife's - both running 10.6.8). The issue also affects both my account and my wife's account - she has her own paid unlimited account and noticed this the same day I did - so I now know it's not "account specific" unless we're both really 'lucky'.
I've tried everything the moderator suggested - cleaned cache, clean install, etc. - on multiple computers and all had the same result. I've clean installed using both the "preview" and the newest version on the "download - mac os x" link in the footer of this page... same result each time on all machines.
I noticed the version updated slightly this morning to a different release of 0.8.2.571g which fixed a problem I was having last night, yes on top of everything else, where randomly the "what's new" page loaded as blank white. However this new release appears to have ONLY fixed the blank "what's new" page and all of the problems we've all been posting about persist here.
I guess I'll continue to "wait this out" but we're approaching a week now that this problem has affected my house, sounds like longer for some of the rest of you here and it's getting past the point of aggravation... where maybe I have to consider downgrading to a "free" account and stop paying Spotify until this gets sorted out.
