I have this problem as well, and have for at least a month or two (and I have friends that do too). How can there not be a fix for this yet!? Any ideas on how to put pressure on the developers? They're loosing suscribers here...

Yes. Start a blog, use something like "Spotify Premium Review" or some variation, write about how terrible the service has been and how little the developers seem to care about their community. Take the blog, bookmark it using a few social services, send the links to your friends, find other people's blog posts and leave comments on them about your own experiences.
If everyone did this, anyone who searched looking for information about the premium services would start getting the negative feedback first and maybe Spotify developers would stop sitting on their hands and fix this rediculousness.

Upgraded yesterday again and nothing changed. Do you guys serioulsy need 3 months to fix tis problem? If i'm sill paying its because it works fine on the iPhone, which i use more than spotify on Mac.

Richard's response does not fill me with confidence. He tells us that Spotify is "hopefully" working on a fix, but provides no specific information, nor any reason why this problem has been allowed to fester for the past three months, nor any offer of compensation to people who have not received the service they paid for.
Can't Spotify just admit that they don't care about 10.5.8 users?

Well....I went to the free version as I wasn't going to pay for a substandard product. Then today I saw an update so i thought maybe just maybe they have fixed the problem...... but no it's the same old story.....it's a shame they seem unable to solve this problem. I assume it is specific to Macs.

I'm not much of a complainer in general, but I use spotify nonstop all day every day and pay for this service. I'd really appreciate a properly working product that I pay for >_<

SERIOUSLY SPOTIFY?! When's the bug gonna get fixed? I've had this problem for MONTHS now, and it's driving me crazy! I'm running Spotify on OSX 10.5.8, like the rest of you guys... And silly me for thinking the latest update would fix the problems... What did the update even do? Nothing's changed for me. I just want it to work properly. Is that too much to ask? I'm paying for Spotify Unlimited every month (not Premium because i don't use it on my phone so I don't see why I would need it) and I'm too addicted to it to ever cancel my subscription, so please fix it! Please please please!

Shuffle button will not change color, and the picture of wich album is playing will not change when i play another song. What is the problem? Ive tried to restart it, but it doesent work. Does anyone have the same problem?
