Is there any one who is working with fixing the problems caused by the last update a month ago who can give us a more detailed report on how the fixes is proceeding, is the bug that causes some of the problems located?
How many people is working on fixing these problems? Is there any plan to release a fix during this week, month or year?
Is there any way for you to release a old, working version of the software that will not auto update as soon as it's started (so that we can enjoy this great way of listening to music without thinking about all of these "new" problems), if not why?
If you fount he bug, please tell us what caused it, it would be fun to know!
Please don't just answer that you are working on fixing these problems, because that is the only thing we have heard, I think that many people will be intrested in this, me included.

Bump.
This is getting kinda ridiculous. How long do you plan to let this go on, Spotify? Straight up ignoring requests for updates makes you look really bad. I continue to be a paid subscriber solely because I use your mobile service so much, which works great. However, I also use the desktop app for 8 hours a day at work and these bugs are super annoying. As massively popular as Spotify has become, you have to be making enough money to hire some more people to work on these issues.

It's all gone quiet over there ... and here, as my Spotify player (running on 10.5.8) now continually crashes about 4 songs into a shuffle playback. Not very convenient. Will they tell me to do a reinstall? What the 8th or 9th reinstall? It just is not good enough. You shoud not be putuing out premium paid for products that are basically beta tests. You did not test this rigorously enough before launching, that seems quite clear.

Man, I was super excited today when i saw that there was an update. FINALLY, I said to myself, I'll be able to use Spotify without all these annoying bugs that i've been dealing with for MONTHS. I started up the first song, and the album artwork came up, as it should. Alright, good start. But then I went to the next track... womp womp. Track info and album artwork stay the same, and I don't get a growl popup. *Sigh* Ah well, guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. It seems that these issues are not going to ever be taken care of. I'm highly disappointed in you, Spotify. If your mobile app didn't work so well I would most definitely not still be a premium subscriber.

Not sure if anybody else has this problem, but on mine, it also fails to show advertising. I can hear advertising, but cannot see any of the ads on the sidebar or bottom bar. Perhaps Spotify would increase their chances of fixing the problem, if ADVERTISERS realized that they were not getting all of their ad out to consumers.

Yeah, been happening for me at least a couple months now as well. Annoying that the tracks don't update in the bottom left at all.
It seems as if this problem bleeds into another one with TuneWiki (a great app for getting song lyrics if you haven't used it yet) - the first song that plays as you open the app will display, but subsequent songs won't be shown at all, rendering the app completely useless after one song.

This has been a problem for months. I have no idea what Spotify is playing at and should get their act togther and at least come up with a statement/apology that there is an issue.
To take cash from subscribers and not provide the service they promised is tantamount to "stealing"...perhaps time to contact the Office of Fair Trading (in the UK) !
