I keep hearing the same songs all the time. I have the shuffle option turned on, but Spotify continues to play a group of Nilsson songs at least 1 out of every 6 songs played. I don't have any of Nilsson classified as a favorite. Any ideas on how to have a better variety played within my 996 songs?

I have a similar problem and it's driving me nuts!

I'm using spotify free on osx - up to date version of spotify.

Whenever I hit next or the next song is supposed to play on a play list, songs from one particular album will play.  Not the playlist/album I'm listening to!

I had a similar problem.  Here's how I fixed it.

Songs from a playlist were playing every time I tried to listen to another playlist.

Go to the playlist/album that is forcing itself to play.

Let it play all of the songs of that playlist (ie. hit NEXT and jump to the end of each song)

After it's finally played all of those songs it should finally allow you to play other stuff.

I'm using spotify on os x btw.

I had to do the same thing, quickly hit the "next" buttom (for each one of the 347 tracks on the playlist!) until the shuffle feature would actually start working. 

I'm not sure if others are having the same issue but to me this was completely annoying.

I got the same problem when using shuffle. Got ~2200 different songs in my playlist, and it says that it's ~5 days long, but it replays the same songs all the time.

For God's sake spotify, the problem has existed for 8 months and is still not fixed? Why should I pay for spotify when I can listen to the same songs over and over again on the radio?
