I recently had to restore my computer to it's out-of-the-box settings, and everything has been working completely normal, except spotify. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times now, but every time after I log in, it will load the regular screen like normal for about 15 seconds, then freeze, and close itself. When I re-open it, it asks me if i want to send a crash report, and I do. Is there a way to fix this? (I'm using windows 7)

Hey!
Have you tried a reinstallation for Flash at all yet? Could you give this a try? You can do it like so...
1. Uninstall Spotify and remove all Spotify folders.
2. Complete uninstall of Flash (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html). In order to uninstall Flash you need to ensure it's not currently being used (basically have no programs running at all).
3. Restart your computer and install Flash again, from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
4. Download and install the latest version of Spotify: https://www.spotify.com/download/
Let me know how you get on.

I don't know if it's a weird conscience but ever since our Digital Nazi Socialist Zuckerberg got his hands on Spotify..among other things (been using this thing when it was in Europe) it's been crashing more thannnn ever. Not to mention privacy is out the window.. It's like **bleep**ting on the 50 Yardline during the superbowl..Everyone can see you, It's like audio sneak paparazzi..for christ sakes.. No Zuckerberg I don't want all my friends knowing that the song "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" is my guilty pleasure and that I am listening to it. And yes I know there is a new setting now.. but geez us this guy is a butthead.

I have tried all the above, but it still crashes.
When I try to login with my facebook account it says the login name/password is incorrect. But I've double checked by loginout of facebook and login in again, and my username/password are correct!
When I login with my spotify account it crashes as soon as it opens.
Help!

Mine is doing the same. I've only just set up my account and after one day of being able to use spotify, I haven't been able to listen to a single track since. Any ideas?

Hey Jeepers76, welcome to the Community.
At what point is the crash happening? I'd try reading through all the instructions to see if they help.
Reinstalling Flash is definitely a useful first step: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Seems as though this is a dead discussion, but I've just recently started having the same issue, spotify crashes immediately after launch. I'm using Google Chrome, so I have the latest version of Flash Player. I've just recently installed the latest version of spotify following the instructions listed on the help page. I thought it may have been a security issue with Window's but spotify still crashes when I run it as an administrator.
