Hi,
We are working hard on providing an Apps enabled version of Spotify for Linux, and there is an (very early) preview version available on the old forums. (https://getsatisfaction.com/spotify/topics/try_out
I am hoping to release a new (still preview most probably) version with Apps soon, stay tuned on this forum for updates!

And can you please speed this up.

Yes, please get this going. There are far more Linux users out there. We just tend to remain quiet with our tinfoil hats on...
Maybe, focus on good distribution as well? Focus on a standard Static binary exec. that will work with any distro. .Debs are great for me, but not everyone is running a debian distro. A static binary would be the most universal.

This latest one doesn't work on either of my Ubuntu machines. Can you guys really fix this thing sooner rather than later.
If the above doesn't work for you guys as well, this is what works well for me

Johan. I do love the spotify preview with apps so much that I'm even running it and not beeing able to add songs to playlists etc. due to the right-click bug.
If you just fix that minor issue I would be extremely happy. How far away is a new version?

FWIW, I'm bitten by the "Spotify hangs at start unless you rm ~/.cache/spotify/offline.bnk first" problem described in the previous forums. I'd really love to see that fixed too. This is on Ubuntu Precise (12.04) for me, but I expect many of the other users with the problem are not quite as bleeding edge.
Thanks
