Won't Post to Facebook?

So, I have Spotify linked to my Facebook account and everything, and it used to post to my profile on the side (With the timeline profile) which songs/playlists I've been listening to. But I've noticed about a week or two ago, it stopped doing this. My friends and I regularly share music but it is hard to do so when the most recent song it shows is from 2 weeks ago.. 😕

Help! How do I make it so it will post again?

Thanks for that Peter. Have also reproduced the error number on my end. Hopefully they can sort it. 

Still, exceptionally strange that it only affects some artists

It seems to strike me at random times too, it seems to die for me at peak times here.

I have the 'Facebook missing activity' problem over two weeks now...
Aswell as activity missing in Spotify itself.
Where can I find if someone is working on it? Is there a status checker or something?

Exactly the same problem here, since May 3rd, 2014. No activity showing in Facebook. I literally tried all possible solutions I found here and elsewhere, to no avail. Disconnecting and reconnecting, clean install, etcetera. I must have tried all solutions ten times or more now. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!

Exactly the same problem, no activity on facebook since the beginning of May. I have also tried disconnecting, removing the spotify app, etc. I play from desktop, iPhone and webbrowser, all 3 show nothing on facebook...

Having the same problem since May, 5. Spotify won't post anything to Facebook. Contacted Spotify Support a few times. They know the 'problem' and are working on it they said. 

Yesterday, for the first time in two weeks there was a bit of Spotify activity on Facebook. Playlist updates appeared on Facebook and starred songs as wel. But not the songs i was playing. 

Today, Spotify again isn't posting anything to Facebook.

Our team is investigating but to be honest we're having trouble duplicating this issue. Further, some of the original posters in this thread were experiencing a separate issue so its been tricky to separate the issues.

Today Spotify posted nothing to my Facebook activity feed. Also playlists updates did not appear today. Yesterday hower only one playlist update made it to Facebook. 

As you can see on the picture, between may 5 and 20, there was no Spotify activity at al posted to Facebook, using webplayer, mobile app and windows app.

Hi @Pimzz, could def be that. But I think Spotify would know that, wouldn't they?

Mine stopped sharing all of my activity to my timeline a while back, but I would think all Spotify scrobbles would still show up in the activity logs even if that was the case.

I have (more or less) the same problem. When I update a playlist it appears in my Facebook feed, but all the songs I listen to never appear. Is there already a solution for this?

I raised the no scrobble issue earlier in the week, it appears Facebook are stopping it according to the Spotify response due to this change:

I saw these articles too, although this shouldn't affect the activity log should it? Rather than stopping the integration altogether it seems like they're just ending Spotify activity being on the News Feed. The weird thing is that on my account most things don't show up in the activity log (but some do). I guess it's a side-effect whilst they're making the changes.

Finally, this problem seems to be solved! My activity log is showing Spotify activity now...

Similar to above. Nothing I do from Spotify goes through to Facebook. I have disconnected from my facebook, removed the app from my facebook acount and then tried to re-connect it. I click the Connect to Facebook button from within the preferences and get a facebook login box. I login and then am taken to a browser and a facebook page requesting the usual permissions. I accept these then just get a static white webpage with just the letters OK in the corner. On spotify I just have a plain white dialog box which never refreshes. I guess a bug is hiding somewhere. My last sucessful share was in April 2014.

I'm facing exactly the same problem that tallpaullewis, in the same conditions he mentioned (the browser shows a blank page with just "ok" in the corner / a blank box on spotify that never refreshes, etc). The manual connection worked, but it only says that I'll be warned when my friends join spotify. What I listen to is not sent to facebook, there's no spotify activity in the activity log.

Obviously there is an error is occurring on the connection between the accounts, the sync works perfectly for those who already have the accounts connected. Also, the connection between my facebook and Deezer is working perfectly, something is wrong with spotify.

The way I fixed it was to delete something like SoundCloud and then play a song and it seemed to work, maybe something to do with Facebook's app handling I don't really understand how it all works.

Still an issue. Tried all the suggested fixes and workarounds like most people who google the problem and land on this thread but to no avail sadly. Any fix coming soon?
