'addbitMap fail' notification

Two strange notifications are permanently popping up on my screen - closing one opens the other. They are both regarding open bitmap fail? I have attempted a clean reinstall however this isn't working and even though the programme doesn't exist on my computer the messages will not go away. When attempting to reinstall error 18 now appears stating that the programme is already running.

How do I get rid of these? They are very annoying!

Thanks!

Re: 'addbitMap fail' notification

Seems like a memory issue.

Possible caused by a RAM / virtual memory is too small, which makes it impossible for Spotify desktop to load all pixmap.

Or some kind of malware in your computer.

Re: 'addbitMap fail' notification

Is this happening for the spotify client or windows at general? Did it began after installing Spotify desktop?

Re: 'addbitMap fail' notification

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the error?

Re: 'addbitMap fail' notification

Hi, I've recently been receiving the same message when I turn on my computer and can't get it to go away even when uninstalling spotify. It also won't let me reinstall spotify. Any help would be appreciated

Re: 'addbitMap fail' notification

If you're using windows, try reinstalling spotify in safe mode following the steps in this guide.
