My Spotify cache grows on my iPhone 4 until I have to delete and reisntall due to lack of space.
I've been searching the net for a solution, but have not found anything yet.
I know that more people have the same problem? Does anyone have solution?
Is the community tracked by anyone from the Spotify team?

Is that why my Spotify is taking up over 4GB of space on my iPhone when I've only downloaded 2 files?

Additionally, if you have an offline playlist and then either delete the playlist or unsync it, the space is still taken up on your phone! This issue has been reported for years and there has been no satisfactory official response by Spotify.
See this thread:
As you can see, people have been reporting this problem for over 2 years now.

iOS 5 will clear the caches on the phone as soon as the storage is full, so, say you are syncing some videos to your device and you run out of space, the phone will clear the cache to make up space for the videos. So you will never suffer any consequences by this feature more than being annoyed there's cache on the phone :) as long as you've updated to iOS 5.

Then it's a iOS 5 bug, please report this to Apple :) There shouldn't be any cases where the cache isn't cleared when space is needed, I'd say especially when updating/downloading applications.
However, I'll keep your request in mind, thanks!
