No album cover in offline mode

Solved!

No album cover in offline mode

Hi

I noticed a bug directly after the iOS update. When you're in offline mode, no album covers are visible in the app. However, they are visible in the "locked screen"-view. Please fix this...

This is a new bug in version 1.9

Spotify is aware of this bug and they are looking into it.

Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.

@Matt: why do you describe this as a new bug? Baha_Ak shows that there are no covers in offline mode. What's new?

yeah this sucks. pls fix that!

Yes, this is a new bug. It is not limited to offline mode.

If you look closely in the screenshot he is not in offline mode.

Ah, I see. He's in 3G. So Spotify managed not to solve the problem with missing album art in offline mode but produced a new bug? What the hell are they doing!? Is nobody checking releases before they go productive? This is not professional!

Yeah I have already complained about it.

They are looking to see what the problem is so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

@Tonsignal

The last few Spotify iOS updates have been very buggy. They have a serious quality control problem which needs to be addressed.

Still not fixed. If i Reinstall the app and keep offline mode turned off the cover art shows up. As soon as I turn offline mode on again cover art disappears. Please fix.

This should be fixed soon. There is currently no ETA when the update will come. I'll let you know as soon as the update is out.

I have the same problem! Please fix this!
The songs with out a cover SUCKS!

Same problem here, only seems to be on offline playlists at the moment.

It's obviously a bug in the latest release. I think the real question is how does something like this go unoticed during software testing?

Please fix this. Offline mode is very ugly without covers. 😞

The app developers are aware of this and it should be fixed soon.

There is currently no exact ETA when the update will come.

Same here, and getting worse. Yesterday I had problems weeks ago with a couple of songs that didn't show the cover. Decided to sync computer and cellphone. After that nothing shows! The funniest thing, as somebody else said before, the covers in the little thumbnails are shown but full display it disappears. Pics added.

By the way, using 2.0.0 version. Bugs reported at least since 1.5. So, are you Spotify guys going to fix this???

I unsynced all of my playlists in hopes to restore album art and now all of the artwork is gone. Even if I'm listening to an "available offline" playlist when I'm connected to wifi, there still is no artwork.

I created my account in this forum just because of this bug.
This is SO freaking annoying!!!

And looking at the thread here this issue has been around for months..

I'm really disappointed.. Please make this a priority for the next release.

Same problem here. Even today after an update the issue is not resolved.

This is exactly the problem!

It is really nerve-recking and it´s  no fun to listen to music without seeing or knowing the cover arts.

Obviously the probelm happens to some users (like you an me) and not to others,,,

Spotify seems not to be willing or able to fix the problem, becuase this bug has been reported for month in the community.

I will wait fo another 2 weeks  to see whether the bug will be fixed.

Otherwise I will change to Google Play Music, which works fine in the present test period.
