Won't upgrade to premium

I paid my subscription and it won't let me play music what is going on! I have always had problems with spotify, please help before I switch from spotify!

Have you checked your account information from https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/ and made sure it has Premium activated? Are you using the right username and password combination for logging in. You surely using the same username and password that shows you that Premium is activated.

How doesn't it let you play songs? You can still log in?
What does it say when you try to play a song (stream)?
