I think the best Brit pop band is Blur. I like that they have many different types of songs. From "Parklife" that's more pop to "Song 2" that´s more rock and a parody of american grunge music.

Theres love for each band but I would also say Blur.

They had so wide, varying and rich discography with all the early (almost Beatles-esque) Britpop-influences and then further moved little bit to more guitar-oriented alternative stuff.
