Re: Why can't I find the track, artist or album I'm looking for?

[ Edited ]

I've noticed recently that some tracks from Paul Simon – Graceland (2011 Remaster) and all of the tracks save 1 from Fleetwood Mac – The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac, have become unavailable (this might only be the UK), thoguht I should bring attention to this, i don't know fi this is the technical issue that has been happening recently or is a content takedown

Re: Why can't I find the track, artist or album I'm looking for?

Hi there,

I'm new here so this might be the wrong place to post this, but i have kind of a situation: My band Tetris = Therapy used iMusician Digital to aggregate the release of our EP (which is called 'Temperance'), and so far the release date of the 23rd has been fulfilled on all stores but Spotify. I can find the EP on Spotify but it is not playable and you can't see any of the tracks in a search of our band name - you just get "This album is not available".

Anyone know why this is? It's clearly in the database and there are no geographical restrictions on this release so why isn't it just available?

I have contacted our aggregator btw, they're just slow at answering.

Kapslock - The best place to get this info is probably through your aggregator. They should be able to tell you why any restrictions may have been put in place.

Beavis and Butt-head Do America... Not available in America?

I'm not sure who to ask about this because the album is compiled of artists like White zombie, Ozzy, Madd Head, No Doubt, Butthole Surfers, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I understand AC/DC not letting their song be available, but Spotify has basically everything from Red Hot Chili Peppers except Love Rollercoaster... Which is realy disappointing!

Is this a matter of the various artists, or Paramount/MTV?

There used to be several albums by Richard Cheese on here.

Now they are all gone, save one song from a Christmas album.

What happened?

I would also like to see music from Tool... good luck with that!

Re: Why can't I find the track, artist or album I'm looking for?

I don't know where to post this, so I post this here. I suggest to add Psychopathic Rydas and MARS to Spotify. By MARS I mean the one from Frisco Bay, California.

Here's example songs from them:

PR: Psychopathic Rydas - Bandanas

MARS: Mars - They Watchin me

I know that this song by MARS is already in Spotify, but it would be nice if other songs would be added too.

And the Rydas. Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, ABK and Blaze Ya Dead Homie are already on Spotify, so why not this supergroup by them?

I also see that any other artist from Psychopathic Records and the only other artist (Kung Fu Vampire) from Mad Insanity is at Spotify.

Then you really shouldn't advertise in your advertisements that you have "pretty much all of the world's recorded music."

That's deceptive.
