Mine is more a LP than an album but it's by far my favourite "Escape" is my absolute favourite. Used to listen to it on Soundcloud but I am happy that it's available on Spotify now!

I've got a lot of contenders in my Best of 2014 list, but none has managed to topple this one, thus far. I was so lucky to see James play in NYC for their ONE show in the US this year. Here is the setlist from that show. This is the phenomenal album they released this year:

One of my favorite releases this year is OXYGEN:INHALE by Thousand Foot Krutch.

Another really awesome one this year was an indie release: Overcomer by Philip Maurice Baker.

I've been building my own aggregated best of list for the last few weeks...now at 700+ tracks. Sources include year-end lists from KEXP, Stereogum, Mojo, NPR, Consequence of Sound, Drowned in Sound, Gorilla vs. Bear, NME, The Guardian, The Line of Best Fit, Album of the Year (list aggregator website), and many more. Rather than full albums, I include a representative track or two, generally based on overall plays.
