Hi folks,
If you're a developer looking to get questions about Spotify APIs, Spotify apps, or general hack related questions answered, head on over to the Spotify developer community at Stack Overflow. Also, you can follow our platform team on Twitter.
We use a separate community for developers to be sure that everyone with a strong knowledge of code and development can contribute. No Spotify account needed.
Feel free to give community manager and hacker advocate Andrew a shout if you need anything.
Cheers,

How does one get a Developer API key? Has this been shut off to new users?

Hi,
I work as a systems engineer with proxy servers and I wonder if there are different serveres for streaming music and "validating" offline files. We have a customer that wants to allow validating offline playlists but not streaming music in their business environment because of limited bandwidth. If you use the same server for both is there any other way to "match" the traffic? User-agent, content-type or something like that.
Thanks alot!

As a weekend project, I'm working on a site which aims to be a portal for Spotify Apps developers, initially to be a marketplace where spotify apps developers could post their hacks and modules for other developers to play with. Links will comes soon.

I have purchased 2 Win 8 RT tablets and I was wondering if there will ever be a Spotify APP in the Windows 8 Store as that is the only way I can install anything on an RT tablet.

As a general rule, Spotify don't comment on upcoming or future releases.
There is a main idea about adding Windows RT support here which you can add your comments and kudos too.
