Looking forward to getting folders though and hopefully some additional tablet features/layout (still to check it on mine though for all I know that's already done!)
New beta app does take advantage of the ICS lockscreen controls. It doesn't yet have folder or tablet support. See my post I linked to above.

Actually! I can drag the menu to hide! Just not to show =P
The area you need to touch first to get the menu to swipe out from the left is tiny - too small in my opinion. I have to try very hard to get it right on my phone, which doesn't have great responsiveness at the edge of the screen

I really hope we can shuffle all tracks in our library and see folder as well as playlists on this new app on mobile please. Thanks

App slowed down considerably when scrolling through songs since installing. Reinstalled preview and back to full speed.
Also, In playlists, Downloaded vs All, If I have all downloaded I really don't need two identical lists (especially with a lots of playlists) to make a really really long scroll down. If I want to go to the bottom and give a nice swoop usually ends up going to far and I just continue down through the 'All' category. I guess long story short, have Downloaded, and Not Downloaded, no need for an All category.

Can no longer see if a song is on favorites list from the playlist but have to go into the songs detail
Can't see the queue anymore
Still no landscape mode
X Button fails a lot. The apps may or may not be where I left it when I return from another app. It's annoying to have to go back to a playlist and try to find your spot in it.
We should be able to reorder playlist items from a mobile device.

After an update to ICS my Spotify app did not work at all. Just kept logging out despite trying several solution to fix the problem. To my joy I found this excellent Android preview which works as a charm. The interface is clean but still offers a number of choices. Havent gotten around trying all the new feature but all in all it seems like the best solution for users having problem after updating to ICS. Perfect, great job.

So why hasn't this been released in the market as yet? The Ipad app is almost identical to this
