I've been waiting for this moment just as long as many of you have. Just like you, I think that wait was a little too long. But I'm very glad to finally let you know that Spotify for iPad is now available.
You can read about it on the Spotify blog.
As always, the same app is downloaded for all iOS devices - iPhone, iPod touchand iPad. But you'll notice a great difference in how things look, feel and function when running on your iPad.
At the same time, we have also fixed a problem or two that had been troubling the iPhone app.
Feedback is most welcome !

The iPad App Looks nice , however it does still need work. But it is a good start ,
needs the following:
Radio, artist and Genres
Album reviews
Spotify Charts, top tracks and top albums
Similar Artists, very weak right now
Need to add a better way to keep track of Favorites, Artist, Albums, Songs annd playlist
Add Featured Playlist.

Does anybody know if you can set volume normalisation in the iPad app? I recently tested the old iOS app on a borrowed iPad via Airplay to my Airport Express against Spotify Mac desktop client streaming via Airfoil, and thence to my pretty revealing h-fi. The iPad sound was noticeably less engaging. I wondered if this might be due to the limiter algorithms used both with and without the volume normalisation?
Sorry - was that a bit geeky! :0)
It sure looks sexy this iPad app - shame my borrowed iPad has now gone back home! (mostly due to the fact it simply didn't sound as good streaming via Airplay as the MacBook via Airfoil.)
