Just switched from a UK to an Australian account. Got to say, there seems to be an inferior selection of music, size-wise... Lots of albums I used to listen in the UK are now unavailable, which is crushingly disappointing.
I realise a lot of the issue is going to be down to licencing laws, but any chance this sort of thing is going to be rectified soon?

Why? Because I want to see what it is like compared to other options available here in Australia. Besides from what I can see the version availble in the US has more good reviews than bad ones.

All bugs and news about app. However, as I received response today, microsoft is awared of those bugs and new app is coming. Sadly no one know when.

Great news and it's syncd with my arrival in New Zealand. :)
I have updated my country from Sweden to New Zealand and all work fine except that i can't install it on IPad. Following errors occur when,
searched on "spotify" in App Store: no result.
navigated to Spotify's app web url App Store: "Your request could not be completed."
Any ideas?

Hey there!
You can use your4 current account. However you may need a local credit card to be able to pay month fees and to be able to change country in Spotify profile.

Never. Licensing laws are far from flexible, you might need to bear with it. When I changed my account from a US account to a UK account, 1/5 of my library went missing and unplayable. True story.

Hey! Welcome to the community :)
What type of connection are you using? You may also want to make sure that you don't have any firewall or security software which is blocking or throttling Spotify's network activity.
There was also a reported issue I saw on the community last week regarding issues for inet users, if that applies to you then you might want to have a look through this topic.

Thanks Peter. I took your suggestion and checked the other discussion about streaming. It appears that I'm not alone. Like the others, I hope the problem is rectified by Spotify soon.
