Spotify Ideas Review
Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board and present the ones we’ve updated in the past 30 days.
We've been busy updating numerous ideas this June that needed a status change.
On our latest Android release (1.1.1) we'll ask you to confirm if you add a song to a playlist twice. Keep an eye on thIS idea for more updates.
To queue a track in the Web Player:
1. Right click/ or hit the three dot menu button.
2. Click "Add to Play Queue".
You can check the Play Queue by clicking on the icon in the top right corner.
You can now see Spotify on your lock screen when using your iPhone or Android. From there you can go forward, backward, pause or play your music.
This request was implemented in the Android app update 1.0.1. If you have any other comments/ feedback please post in the idea.
When searching for a track you can now click + drag the search results into a playlist on the Spotify desktop app.
We want your ideas!
We also want to give a massive shout to our Idea guardian @Marco for his support. If you're interested in becoming an Ideas Guardian too just fill out this form right here.
The team is hard working keep all your Community Ideas updated so keep an eye on the board for more news.
How strange:
Music is about sound and hence every effort ought to be about making spotify sound as good as possible, instead every effort is towards graphics.
How can spotify prioritize graphics over a equalizer? Have they even heard the difference with and without a equalizer?
Strange, very strange...
It's not same style on Android. Please make it iPhone style.
@Peter Thanks for your interest.
I'm using Equalify on Windows 8.1
I'm also using Android 4.x
I would like to see a better Equalizer than I'm currently using, I wrote a suggestion on the link below:
http://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Add-Equalizer-in-Spotify/idc-p/852301#M53488
I find myself changing the Equalify settings based up on the track I'm playing, this equalize rcan really improve the sound and lift the music.
It's however cumbersome to keep changing the preset for different albums / songs.
The experience could be so much better if one could connect the equalizer setting to a certain track and possibly even a certain player so that the user only needed to change the settings one time for each track. Meaning the equaliser setting would change automatically when player changes track.
If you have any suggestions, please share them.
Best regards
Just wondering why someone at Spotify seems to think that dark grey lettering on a black background makes for a legible menu. Fashionable, perhaps, but hardly useful. How get a change to something more practical?
